A Big Island couple is facing burglary charges in connection with a Tuesday residential break-in in Puna.

Blaine L. K. Faries III, 31, of Honomu and 37-year-old Stephanie Michelle Christie, of Keaau were each charged Wednesday with first-degree burglary, according to the Hawaii Police Department. Bail for each was set at $5,000.

The couple was reportedly found Tuesday by police officers in a Hawaiian Paradise Park home in the process of taking several items, according to police.
